gets me through my days
a very touching story that happened to… me (Mary). ok so i just had a super busy 12 hour shift from hell where my residents felt inclined to scream for me when they needed something rather than use their call light. exhausted and wanting to give up, i hear a woman screaming my name. mary. MARY. MAAARRRYYY! so i go in her room. yes, what can i do for you? she says, mary, i love you. i give her a hug and tell her that i’ve had a bad day and that means a lot and that i love her too. then i ask her what she needed. she said, oh, that was it.
